Setup/Operator of Mori Seki/Hwacheon (Fanuc) CNC single/multi spindle Lathes and/or Mills. Individual hired will be working in a cell environment and responsible for running production on multiple machines. This individual will also be responsible for documenting inspections as required by quality control.
The CNC machinist operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
Assists in other work areas to perform fabrication, lay-up, infiltration, and sand blasting tasks.
Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
Experience with CNC machining, including CNC lathe operation
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and problem-solving
Knowledge of Fanuc systems and basic math skills

The CMM Programmer will perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections and prepare data for PPAP and FAI submission, as well as prepare Control Plans and job duties as listed.

· Prepares CMM programs as required to CAD data and or prints for component parts
and assemblies.
· Performs 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections.
· Create layouts of fixtures and manage CMM reports for traceability.
· Prepares data for PPAP and FAI submissions as requested.
· Performs gauge studies, (GR & R’s) and prepares Control Plans.
· Participates and assists in problem solving and analysis.
· Train and develop less experienced staff with the necessary programming and
measurement skills to promote department growth.
· Strong knowledge of CMM measuring devices and software.
· Preferred experience with Mitutoyo Mcosmos.
· Able to work with minimum supervision.
· Other tools for measurement such as, but not limited to, mics, calipers, surface testers,
height gauges, plug gauges, comparator, indicator, and Faro Arm.
· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance desirable.
· Actively participate in APQP Process especially in gauge and fixture design.
· Perform required incoming inspections.
· Proficient computer skills (Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Any other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

· Operate tube bending machines to shape metal tubes, rods, and bars to specified configurations.
· Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
· Perform tube flaring, deburring, trimming, and forming operations on a variety of metal materials.
· Set up tube bending machines and related tools for production runs.
· Adjust machine settings to accommodate different tube sizes and materials.

· Uses basic measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometers).
· Reads and interprets Control Plans.
· Performs cell product audits and documents inspection results.

· Performs outgoing product audits before shipping to outside operations.
· Maintains records of all measurements.
· Report inspection and test data
· Use SPC for control of critical features where required.
· Performs calibration of gauges and maintains calibration records
